This Vibra in Rochdale is the worst place you can put your love ones..
PT was good. Food was 50/50, when my boyfriend received what he ordered, and not a cold ham sandwich. I am thankful he didn't have any urgent situation to use the call button for. I was with him and had to track down a nurse several times because call buttons are so often ignored. We once sat there for an hour with it beeping and blinking. People could be heard yelling "help me". I'm fearful for anyone in an urgent situation, that they would die waiting for attention. All that said, the staff they do have was friendly and seemed caring- when you see them.
Do Not Send your Loved One Here. They are under staffed and can not properly care for the patients. One Nurse can not have more than 5 vent patients at once this is very unsafe for the patient and the nurse. Very unfair this could be a wonderful hosptial seeing it is needed but you can not under staff your facility and think this is OK because it is NOT. I requested UMASS to please stop offering this place to your vented patients that need rehab. On my sister very short stay we noticed absolutely no PT going on, a matter of fact there were very few people out of bed very sad for the ones that have no voice due to the vent they are like sitting ducks. Please consider other options before sending your family member here. My sister left with a Level 3 bed sores and a collapsed lung. Thank you - I had to put a star to post this but no star should be given.
My grandmother had excellent end of life care here. Very grateful for the staff of nurses who cared for her.

Disregard the 1 star had to click it to post. Please please do not send your loved ones to Vibra hospital. This place doesnt take care of thier patients, and in my opinion should be shut down. My grandfather was a patient there and he was neglected, he didnt receive any type of physical therapy, and the nurses never rotated him which caused a level 4 bedsore. Not to mention They didnt let us know about the bedsore, and it was infected terrible. Can you believe he wasnt given any pain medication knowing how painful bedsores are he was just left there to suffer. So again i say to you DO NOT send your loved ones to Vibra hospital.
