Great storage space, good service, and very reasonably priced
Unfortunately, the only thing good I can say about Fort Knox is that the owners daughter was very nice. My experience started with poor customer service. I worked directly with the owner, Jimmy, who was not professional at all. I found myself sitting at his PC trying to figure out my online U-Haul reservation. He proceeded to overbill me. I literally spent around 3 hours trying to rectify the situation. He finally resolved the billing issue, but wasted my own personal time. I just picked up my stuff from the storage unit after 9 months ($1200) later...on a number of items there was mold and I had a dresser in there that will not even open now due to the moisture in the unit. I had to throw out a number of pieces. Not all of my stuff was moldy, but a good 10 pieces. You are best off spending a little more and having the peace of mind that your personal belongings will be protected.
